Merch Store Set-Up
Fairground integrates with a full merchandise platform that lets artists, labels, and other creators set up an online store and sell physical products directly to fans.
Overview
Before you can sell merch, you need:
1. An Artist, Venue, Label, Promoter, profile on Fairground
2. Stripe Connect set up to receive payments
3. True Fans onboarding complete (which includes Stripe verification)
Setting Up Your Store
1. Go to Profile > Settings > Merch Store
2. Follow the setup prompts to create your seller account
3. Once approved, you can start listing products
Managing Products / Inventory
- Create products with titles, descriptions, images, variants (size, colour), and pricing
- Manage inventory and stock levels
- Set shipping options and rates
- View and manage orders
The vendor panel is accessible from your Fairground settings via a single sign-on link.
How Fans Find Your Merch
Your merchandise appears in several places:
- Your profile - A dedicated merch section on your artist/creator page
- Scene pages - If you participate in a Scene, your merch appears in that Scene's merch section
- Event pages - If you're the headliner, your merch appears on the event page
- Shop - Fans can browse the shop section of the app
Orders and Fulfilment
When a fan places an order:
1. You receive a notification
2. The order appears in Settings > Merch Store > Orders
3. You must fulfil the order
4. Tracking information must be added
5. The fan is notified of shipment
Revenue and Payouts
- Fairground takes a platform commission
- Any shipping fees that you charge and taxes collected on your behalf are included in your payout
- Payouts go to your connected Stripe account immediately (minus the commission as set out in our Terms & Conditions)
