Setting Up Your Profile

Profile Types

Fairground supports different profile types depending on how you want to use the platform. Your default profile when you sign up is 'Fan'. You can then choose to build other profiles that reflect your activities and interests:

• Fan - Discover music, follow artists, and subscribe to True Fans
• Artist - Upload music, build a fanbase, and monetize your work
• Business - Promote your music business or label
• Event - Promote events and sell tickets
• Venue - Showcase your venue and list events

• Other Key Types

• Event - Promote events and sell tickets

You can have multiple profile types and switch between them whenever you want.

Editing Your Profile

• Go to your Profile tab
• Tap Settings
• Tap Edit Profile
• Update your information:
  • Profile photo - Your main avatar
  • Cover photo - The banner image at the top of your profile
  • Name - Your display name
  • Username - Your unique @handle

Deleting Your Account(s)

Important Note: Before you delete your main account

All associated accounts (artist, business, venue etc.) that you have created from your main account will remain on our system when you delete your main account. However, you will not be able to access them directly from the platform.

If you wish to delete these associated profiles, you need to delete them by following the steps below before deleting the main account.

If you need to delete your account:

1. Go to Profile
2. Tap Settings
3. Scroll to the bottom
4. Tap Delete Account
5. Confirm your decision

Switching Between Profiles

If you have multiple profiles (e.g., you're both an artist and run a venue):

• Go to your Profile tab
• Tap Settings
• Tap Manage Artists, Manage Businesses, Manage Events, or Manage Venues
• Find the profile you want to switch to
• Tap Act As next to that profile
• To switch back to your main fan profile
  • Go to Settings
  • Tap Switch to Profile at the top

Artist Profile Setup

If you're an artist, there are additional steps to start earning:

• Set up Stripe Connect - Required to receive payments
• Upload your music
• Create True Fans tiers - Optional subscription tiers for your biggest supporters

2. Navigate to the relevant section for step by step guidance.

Deleting Your Account(s)

4. Find the profile you want to switch to
5. Tap Act As next to that profile

To switch back to your main fan profile:

1. Go to Settings
2. Tap Switch to Profile at the top

Artist Profile Setup

If you're an artist, there are additional steps to start earning:

4. Select True Fans content - Select what content you wish to show in each tier
